On the sixteenth anniversary of the horrific events of September 11, 2001, the United States and the Western world face the same threat by genocidal Islamic terrorists that were responsible for the death of 3,000 Americans on U.S. soil.
Two years after the announcement of the Iran deal, i.e., the JCPOA, the Middle East continues to be on fire. Contrary to claims by the Obama Administration, the Iran deal did not prompt a more kinder, gentler Iranian regime. Right now, Iran and its forces dominate Lebanon; are in control of Iraq, according to even the New York Times; are helping the Syrian dictator Assad continue to reclaim his country; and are backing Shia Muslim rebellions in Yemen, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia. They also are training and supplying Sunni terror armies, such as the Taliban in Afghanistan and Hamas in Gaza. Meanwhile, the so called Islamic State, or ISIS, which has brutally murdered thousands of innocent civilians, is still hanging on in Syria and Iraq, and is organizing and inspiring terror attacks throughout the world, including in the U.S.. Al-Qaeda also controls its own areas, in Syria and Yemen, and continues to threaten through its own terror attacks.
What are the critical lessons that the U.S. should take from the 9/11 attacks? What should the United States do to safeguard our homeland and prevent future attacks on U.S. soil? How can the U.S. stop the rise of homegrown terrorism?
Please join us as we hear from national security experts Amb. John Bolton & Dr. Walid Phares on these issues, and more.
