Lauri B. Regan is the New York chapter president and vice chair of the executive board of the Endowment for Middle East Truth and the vice president, treasurer, and board member of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East. She also serves as a board member of Polaris National Security. She previously launched and chaired the American Zionist Movement’s Antisemitism, Anti-Zionism, and Holocaust Denial Project. Ms. Regan retired from 30 years of the practice of law in April 2018, prior to which she worked as a senior counsel in the Capital Markets practice of White & Case LLP in New York City. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Ms. Regan graduated with a B.A. from Emory University and received her J.D. with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law. Upon graduation from law school, she moved to New York City where she focused on bank finance transactions at Otterbourg, Steindler, Houston and Rosen, P.C. and Mayer Brown LLP prior to joining White & Case. In addition to being a frequent and regular contributor to the AmericanThinker website, Ms. Regan has also written for the Jewish National Syndicate (JNS), The Jewish Voice, The Jerusalem Post, Newsweek, the Jewish Policy Center’s inFocus Magazine, The Jewish Press, and Hadassah Magazine, and her political analyses and insights have resulted in her articles being linked on many internet news sites including Fox Nation, the Wall Street Journal, National Review, and Lucianne. Ms. Regan also contributed an essay in the book, Betrayal: The Failure of American Jewish Leadership. Ms. Regan frequently speaks on issues pertaining to the US/Israel relationship as well as other foreign policy/national security matters including at the United Nations addressing the rise of global antisemitism and on Capitol Hill addressing free speech and antisemitism on college campuses. She appeared in a televised debate on the JCPOA on NY1, has appeared on i24 News, and has been a guest on various radio programs including The Craig Silverman Show, The Thomas Hayes-Morrison Radio show and Shalom USA Radio. Ms. Regan is a devoted wife and mother of three.
