About this webinar: This is the second of a two-part series examining the small, yet intriguing  Sunni Gulf nation of Qatar, which is among the richest nations of the world due to their vast petroleum and natural gas reserves. Qatar has recently been cited by an October 2020 study from  the Department of Education as the largest foreign donor of major gifts to US universities, and that is based on the gifts that the universities have disclosed. This Muslim Brotherhood Nation has also poured millions of dollars into the funding of kindergarten through 12^th grade classrooms throughout the West, while they support Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, ISIS Al Qaeda, Jabat al Nusra, and have been developing an increasingly close relationship with Iran. They also have recently asked to purchase our highly sophisticated F 35 aircrafts, and have been granted Major Non-NATO Ally Status by the US government.

Professor Efraim Inbar is the President of the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security. Prior to that Professor Inbar was the founding director of the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies, a position he held for 23 years (1993-2016), and a professor of political studies at Bar-Ilan University. He has been a visiting professor at Georgetown, Johns Hopkins and Boston universities; a visiting scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars; a Manfred Warner NATO Fellow; and a visiting fellow at the (London-based) International Institute for Strategic Studies.
