The last two months of the Obama Administration might prove to be very dangerous for the long-term survival of Israel. We are afraid that this lame-duck session might be an opportunity for President Obama to refrain from vetoing a French proposal for unilateral Palestinian statehood along the pre-1967 lines. This might be something that Israel’s enemies could use to take Israel to the International Criminal Court of Justice and to further demonize the Jewish state. This will be in violation of American policy that Palestinian statehood should only result in direct, bilateral negotiations between the two parties.
Please join us as we hear from experts on the implications of any actions that could be taken during the lame-duck session.
