Last night we also went to the ninth annual Rays of Light in the Darkness dinner hosted by the Endowment for Middle East Truth at the Grand Hyatt Washington. For 10 years, EMET has kept policymakers and the public informed about Middle East policies, Israel and Islamic terrorism.

We snapped founder Sarah Stern, Karen Cohen, Performance Media Strategies’ Mark Dorf, and board member James Woolsey. EMET gave Speaker of the Truth awards to brave individuals who risked their lives to give a voice to the truth about the Middle East. Here, Rep. Louie Gohmert, radio show host Mark Levin, RMR’s Robyn Sachs, and Gelberg Signs’ Luc Brami. Friends and supporters of EMET mingled at a VIP reception, while tasting bites of vegetable spring rolls and beef tenderloin canapés. Here, Heller Orthodontics’ Dr. Alan Heller and his wife, Sheri, and Louise Schneider. Guest enjoyed wine with their dinner of mango salad with sweet curry vinaigrette, steak with snap peas, and fingerling potatoes. Here, Dr. Israel Schur and his wife, Sharon, Michal Green, Lisa Rosen, and EMET dinner chair David Green.
