Action Alert: Urge your Representative to sign the Royce-Engel bipartisan letter to Palestinian Authority President, Mahmoud Abbas, to stop the incitement to kill and the escalating terrorism.

Since mid-September Palestinians have waged a violent wave of terrorist attacks throughout Israel against innocent Israelis. In response to the upsurge of terrorism, Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Ed Royce (R-CA) and Ranking Member, Eliot Engel (D-NY) have written a bipartisan letter to Palestinian Authority (PA) President, Mahmoud Abbas, asking him to stop the PA’s incitement to kill and the escalating terrorism, and are circulating it to their colleagues on Capitol Hill.

In the letter, Royce and Engel address the recent statements made by Abbas himself, “other political figures, clerics, and official PA media” that “have undoubtedly served to inflame the current situation.” The letter calls on the PA to “take concrete steps to avoid further violence.”
