FEATURING:

Kenneth L. Marcus Former Assistant Secretary For Civil Rights With The Department of Education

About this webinar: This webinar will ask the question, “What is the state of civil rights for Jews, among other minorities, in our nation’s educational institutions?”

Kenneth L. Marcus has a long and illustrious history of advocating for the rights of Jews and other minorities in our nation’s educational institutions. Most recently he served as Secretary for Civil Rights in the Department of Education, a position that requires Senate confirmation. He has recently returned to the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law,” an institution that he had founded, where he is presently serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The mission of the Louis D. Brandeis Center is “to advance the civil and human rights of the Jewish people and promote justice for all.” We are looking forward to hearing from Kenneth L. Marcus as he reflects on his long illustrious career, and upon the state of human rights and justice, and particularly of the Jewish people.
