FEATURING:

Lieutenant Colonel Sarit Zehavi

About this webinar:

As we witness the increase of Iranian aggression and belligerence throughout the region, the Islamic Republic, through its proxies has continued to entrench itself deeper into the failed states of Lebanon and Syria, on Israel’s northern border.

As we know, Lebanon’s commercial, political and military infrastructures have been almost totally overrun by Hezbollah, with its characteristic corruption and cronyism.  Today 1 Lebanese pound is worth 0.00066 US dollars.

And, this week we marked the passing of 10 years since the Arab Spring erupted in Syria, leaving in its wake a path of devastation and ruin, in which Iran, Turkey, and Russia are in a powerplay.

It is Iran’s intention to replicate the formidable Hezbollah presence that it has in Lebanon, in Syria, today.

For an update on the events on Israel’s border with Lebanon and with Syria,  we are honored to present, once again, the incredibly courageous  Sarit Zehavi, CEO of the Alma Research and Education Center today. Hezbollah has named the ALMA Center specifically and has exposed their exact location as being on their target list in the next war. Their research and education have served to be an invaluable resource for the IDF, and for visiting delegations to Israel’s north, from throughout the world.

Lieutenant Colonel Sarit Zehavi is the CEO and founder of Alma – a nonprofit and an independent research and education center specialized in Israel’s security challenges on its northern border. Sarit has briefed hundreds of groups and forums, ranging from US Senators, Congressmen/women, and politicians to senior journalists and visiting VIP groups in Israel and overseas. Sarit scripts numerous position papers and updates focusing on Lebanon, Syria and Israel’s national security challenges. She served for 15 years in the Israeli Defense Forces, specializing in Military Intelligence. Sarit holds an M.A. in Middle East Studies from Ben-Gurion University. Sarit Zehavi and her husband Yaron are raising their 5 children in Western Galilee.
