About the speaker: Emanuele Ottolenghi is a Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, where he researches sanctions evasion and illicit finance networks linked to Iran and Hezbollah, with special focus on Latin America. Before joining FDD, in March 2010, he headed the American Jewish Committee’s Transatlantic Institute in Brussels, and taught Israel Studies at Oxford University. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Theory from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and an undergraduate degree from University of Bologna, in Italy.
