Dear Senator _____________,
Israel is experiencing its worst wave of Palestinian terrorist attacks in years. On February 13th, a 13-year-old Palestinian fatally stabbed a border policeman, 22-year-old Asil Su’ad, while in the span of a few hours a 14-year-old Palestinian stabbed a 17-year-old Israeli in the old city of Jerusalem. On Friday, February 10th, a six-year-old boy and his 8-year-old brother, along with a newly married 20-year-old man were murdered in a Palestinian terrorist attack, a car ramming aimed at civilians waiting for a bus. On January 27th, a 21-year-old Palestinian attacked Jewish worshipers as they were on their way home from Friday evening prayers in Synagogue, murdering 7 innocent people.
We strongly believe that part of the problem is the Palestinian glorification of terrorism and martyrdom, which constitutes the worst sort of child abuse imaginable—literally asking children to cut short their lives, as well as the lavish payments that the Palestinian Authority rewards the prisoners with–rich inducements to the families of the Palestinian prisoners and “martyrs” to commit acts of terrorism.
We would like to thank you for being a sponsor of the Taylor Force Act, which was signed into law in March 2018. The law specifically states that funding to the “Palestinian Authority. The Palestinian Liberation Organization and any successor or affiliated organizations may only be made if these organizations have terminated payments for acts of violence against Israeli citizens and United States citizens,” among other conditions.
